A much better album than people want to admit.

Heading Out to the Highway, Hot Rockin', and Desert Plains are some of my favorite Priest songs.

Most of the others (Troubleshooter, Turning Circles, You Say Yes, etc.) are definitely more commercial but that doesn't mean they are bad songs.

Some of them might even be considered hits if they came from more mainstream acts like The Cars, Donnie Iris, et al.

Rob's delivery is outstanding on all the songs and the music is crunchy even on the poppier tunes.

discog walk; much better than expected. guitarists duo, stellar like always. The opener and the closer are excellent. I really like nearly all the pieces, here.

Only fillers, imo, are You Say Yes/Turning Cycle. Excellent album if we dare to not comparing it to their masterpieces albums. idek, if it is possible.

On the positive there's some audible bass here.

Solar Angels is pretty good.

So is On the Run.

highway, hot rockin, desert plains, solar angels are great. this would probably look better if it wasn't in the shadow of their breakout and their superstar album on either side.

This has its fair share of jams.

FROM DESERT PLAINS I BRING YOU LOVVEEEE

There's only 2 real clunkers for me: You Say Yes & Don't Go

I'm sure I'll ruffle feathers wgen I do a new Priest ranking. But that's inevitable.

Don't Go sucks real hard.

FROM DESERT PLAINS I BRING YOU LOOOVVVVEEEE

You Say Yes also sucks.

On the Run one of their best closers.

Liking this and Turbo might not be a cool opinion, but who cares?

Desert Plains and Solar Angels make for a perfect pair.
