Christian announced on his facebook few weeks ago that new songs have been written and will play them on the forthcoming Arkaea tour............ he described it as "sick".

Despite the fact that this album was sub-par, I have to admit to liking the two Fear Factory albums that he wrote, so I won't give up yet.

That would be a good change. If he goes in a direction similar to the stuff on the second FF release that he wrote and the two good songs on this, then it might be good. It will depend on the vocalist.

I don't know. I'm thinking someone that can sing, but can also do the occasional shout. Someone a bit more versatile and unique than your average metalcore vocalist. Someone like the new Alice in Chains vocalist or Alan Techio (from Non-Fiction days, not Watchtower) would be perfect. A solid clean vocalist over heavier music.

Weird, the way you described it instantly brings bands like Trapt, Breaking Benjamin, Red and Skillet to mind in terms of clean vocals with occasional shout.
I know i've joked about this before but i really think that original Divine Heresy vocalist would do the job nicely in Arkaea............. if he wasn't such an Axl Rose.
