The God that Failed is also a big favorite of mine to. Love the intro.
EDIT: Vague, by 'Failed' do you mean one of the biggest, most commercially successful, and not mention one of the greatest Metal bands to ever hit the stage? Cause if that's failure, I want to fail. This Message Edited On 07.18.06

Metallica are far from failures. This album sold around 14 million copies I believe. That's failing now?

Maybe they were talking about when they were in school. ;)

No vague, success is measure by having a flippin huge fan base, critic approval, and still being called one of the most influential/greatest bands ever...even after you release a few sub-par and one horribly crappy album. But it does help when you're rolling around in the cash cause of that. That's considered success too.

Yeah they have financial sucess as well as musical success. Although, recently they've been losing touch with the musical success.

Just wait for the next album

Oh yea, I forgot to tell you guys. My football coach drove these guys to their show on accident one night. His friend called him and said one of their drivers got sick and wanted him to drive a van and take the roadies and would pay him 100 bucks. So he shows up to the airport, and instead of the roadies getting in the van, the whole Metallica gang jumps in the van and puts the roadies in the limo. So my coach got to hang out with them for awhile. Said they were cool as hell actually.
EDIT: I believe that part, cause for some reason he knows a ton of people in various businesses. The part that I'm sure on is he said that he was a teacher at the time (which is true, duh), and the guys whipped out a video camera and started recording stuff while he drove for fun, and used some of that footage for 'Wherever I May Roam' (He claims you can see Ohio highway signs, I'm bout to check on that) and they wanted a shot of him, but he had to turn it down cause if anyone saw him in the video, he'd get fired cause he left to pick them up during school hours. He basically ditched his job to pick them up. I would've too. This Message Edited On 07.18.06

Kirk definitely isn't gay, he can't help that he has sort of a girly voice, and appearence as well.

You don't know that. I love it when people assume their favorite stars are"nice people", or "just like them". There are plenty of gay people who haven't announced it yet.

I suppose he could be a bisexual.
...I think MFOM may be the best song on the album.

Damn right. Sex me (I'm not serious, I just find the best way to react to gay jokes is to hit on the person who made it to make them feel awkward)
...I think Nothing Else Matters is metallica's most solidly written song.

That's usually the best way, but it ruins the joke when you say

My Friend of Misery and Through the Never are my favorites off of this album... and to be completely honest, I have always always found Nothing Else Matters a boring track. It's such a beautiful song too, I just can't stand it though.
