''It's one of the best post-hardcore albums of all time.''

Wouldn't go that far, but it's definitely one of the better phxc release of the last few years.

Weaving the Values that Sustain Us will always be in like my top 10. The guitar just engrosses you and it's almost like a

religious experience. It's always been weird to me that this can garner such a high rating but Oceana (now Polyenso's) The

Tide can get such mehh ratings. They're so similar. At least to me

Did they ever actually release that EP they were talking about? I want to say they kept pushing back for a while there...

Yeah. Chroma Dreamcoat. It's decent but nothing to write home about. Far inferior to this. It's on YouTube but that's about it. Not on spotify/iTunes.

They never released the EP. They released one song and a demo. That's it.

The production of the drums is the only thing that holds this back from being a 5 for me.

that new song was great though, these guys need to get their shit together and finish that damn ep.

That's an interesting reason for it to not get that extra point 5. Does it really bother you that much?

@ecnalzen, yes. I can't really justify 5ing an album if an aspect of it bothers me.

Fair enough.

I don't generally look a lot into production, I guess. It would have to be pretty terrible for me to consider not giving an album a higher rating because of it.

On a slightly related note, I find the tone of the lead guitar on this to be fantastic.

They are working on an EP, but they keep pushing it back. I forget if they were just doing this one thing or not, tho.
