That's cause the two softer songs shine. I still listen to the album on occasion mainly for the vocals, he may not be the best vocalist but he's so passionate. Lyrically, I would say they progressed.



Hollow Crown is still the most emotional metal album i'v heard. Serious.

Absolutely true. This album just fucking slays. So much emotion and energy throughout.

In Elegance always gets to me so hard. It's so emotional. I have more of a connection with it than We're Not Alone.
