Dude if you dont like this band because you think that theyre one of the worst musically talented bands in the world, that fine! I find them to all be really good at their instruments and great songwriters, but I dont see how you can possibly give this a 0.5.

anyways you said on page 9 that you disliked the band because they were fashioncore and the vocals. thats not a good reason to dislike the entire band

Haha alright, but a 0.5? sounds a little harsh for a band that you appreciate the musicians even a little bit. Have you listened to this whole album? I mean, songs like Second Heartbeat are songs that the vocals can either make you love or hate the song, but the instrumental aspect is great. Chapter Four you have a lot of singing and backup screaming with nice harmonosized guitars. I think its great

I'll never quite understand how fans of music, can dislike a musicians work, simply because of a bands image.

Don't like the band? Cool. Thats not what the idea of an album review is about, however. Its a peice of work; thats whats at question. Not the people behind it.

That is not the reason that they changed at all, do your research before you make untrue and false claims.

They were gonna stop scream anymore anyway but not to make money, because their were so many other bands screaming that the ship was sinking, but they jumped ship to the not screaming ship. Yes not screaming helped them get bigger but that was not the reason they did it.

This is my favorite A7X album. Shadows still had an amazing vocal range on here and the instruments just plain kicked ass. Second Heartbeat is a killer song, as are many on here. Some songs on here are better than others, but overall I don't think there's a bad song on here.

I would have liked this album more if Shadows' vocals didn't totally blow.

Agreed Steerpike. Shadows sings way too high, he sounds like a girl.

It's not pitch. It's the fact that he croaks, squawks, squeals, and overall sounds like he jammed a wire bottlebrush down his throat before recording.

His vocals on the new cd must gut and rape your ears then, considering you dislike them so much here.

They do. I don't like the new album much at all, despite everyone saying that it's a classic.

Haha, I think everyone was violated as a result of that cd. I like the fact that his vocals are a little more varied on here as opposed to the new one where, from what I've heard, all he does is make that whiney noise that stabs my soul.
