I like this a little better than Focus. I didnt at first, but this really grew on me.

I haven't yet listened to Focus. This is my first Cynic album and it is interesting to say the least but I simply cannot stand the boy band cleans the vocals suck and I don't think anyone has brought that up...maybe it's just too obvious. I listened to it a few times nothing really stands out too much but I really like Integral Birth and the Unknown Guest. Descent review btw.

Saw these guys supporting Opeth on Friday night. Was good, played one song off Focus and the rest from this one. Need to get this album.
