9t is a 5 because Because it's a fantastic record with great songs. Excellent use of guitar tones, catchy riffs, some of Stephen's best lyrics are on here and songs like Never Let You Go, Deep Inside of You and Slow Motion are up there with the best in their catalog. 2nd half is way wild and balls to the wall, production is A+ almost had me wanting to produce music i mean listen to wounded ffs wow its a 5

I don't think the 2 statements are mutually exclusive. You can have 2 athletes where one is "far" superior by being more efficient in all categories, faster 40 yard dash, vertical jump, shuttle run, bench press etc and the second athlete can "come close" being behind in each categories by miliseconds, a few reps etc. Athlete 1 is better all around but the second can certainly come close.

Just wiped the dust off this today. What a grower. I remember barely liking this album when it first came out but now it just destroys. Barely a weak point.
Wounded is possibly one of 3EB's best tracks ever.
