I'm wondering if Phil increased the clean singing in order to show the instruments more. In some songs on TFoI, he kinda stole the show. I would've liked to see a death growl or two in this album (not too many, but enough to help accent), and his high pitched shrieking, in my opinion, gets really annoying at times.

i agree that this album is no where near as exceptional as the fall of ideals. all the songs are good but not great and they all carry the same formula.

Would the rating be so low if some random unknown band released this? It feels kind of like a rock album with some screaming and for a 2.9 i've heard a lot worse. Obviosuly not up to the fall of ideals.

Being my intro to All That Remains, I have a soft spot for this album especially the track "Two Weeks"
That being said, it doesn't make it great, but I honestly enjoy every song on this album. Yes is different than the ones in the past, but what of it? You can still tell it's All That Remains at the end of the day.

This album is so boring. This is pretty much definition of mediocre. I have listened thru it few times but it just puts me to sleep :/ Its not horrible, but there is nothing really appealing in it.
