I agree with Mark, I think this tops DtGL in continuity and just songwriting. I think almost everything on this is more focused and powerful. It's also stuck in my head right now which never really happened with DtGL, although still a great album. This started at a 3.5 for me, so also a grower.

Not going to lie, I've been playing this obsessively since I picked it up

My favorite record by UO yet.

I really think you're review was much too harsh. The second half of the album in my opinion was just as 'epic' as the rest. Those tracks are what sets them apart from all the other bands of similar genre. There is just one word I can use to describe this work of art.

This still hasn't come in...since I preordered it over a month ago that is very saddening...oh well, guess I have to keep listening to it online until it comes in

Dunno if this has been mentioned but it's currently the highest rated album of the year at metacritic.com. A 92. Whoa.

Glad to see you liked it Angel, I always feel bad when I tell someone to check something out and they end up hating it.

Yeah dude, props, this is very awesome. And very addictive, I've spun it 5 times in two days (that's a shitload for me lol)

Also, I like the religious undertones. Or overtones. I honestly think that's where much of the passions in his powerful scream comes from, it's cool to see (hear).

Lost In The Sound Of Seperation hands down is what a mature Underoath should sound like. It seems like the right album to make at this point in there lives. The guitar work is way more technical then anything off of there pre Define The Great Line albums. I think it was a pretty good listen, and im very interested in seeing them live this fall

The tracks I have heard from here actually surprised me... I've always thought Underoath sucked but I'm tempted to go out and get this.

It's alot better than stuff I heard from TOCS and TCOT. Suppose I should look into DTGL from what I've read too.
