You are partly right, Artuma. But the lyrics are good because they dare to be romantic and personal - without being (too) embarrassing. A dm song called A Day by the Lake is novel and makes it easier to accept stuff like:
Can't await the sound of gentle waves
melting with the rhythm of our crave.
But today there are only elegies
Filling our tainted elysium.
Urgh. But I have seen many people really connect with some of these lyrics. We should recognize and maybe even respect that.
Even I, an obvious genius, resonate with the chorus to Fall.
