This band isnt doom anymore, at least on this record, but I hope to hear some new material in 2010.

The beginning of Earthbound is amazing and I love the crushing atmosphere at the beginning of Morphine Cloud.

I gave this a 5 once. It lasted about 24 hours before I realized that only the first four tracks deserve a 5.

Damn good album, Not Breathing is my favorite at the moment.

My first listen through this album and as for now, Arcane Rain Fell completely destroys it. I miss heart-touching choruses like the one on Daylight Misery. Also, this sound too ...I don't know, ''packed''. As if the music doesn't really go anywhere and stays on the safe side. But hey, first listen, everything can happen. I expect this to grow on me anyway. But ARF definitely made a bigger impression on me at first listen.

That weird, because I just listened to some of ARF for the first time today and I thought this annihilates it. It seemed like the first 4 songs all sounded the same, and it seemed like the girl doesn't get much time to sing either. But I still have to listen to the rest of it.
|
| |
Well, the lack of woman vox on ARF is a positive thing for me, since I prefer them as backup instead of 'full-time vocalists' in my metal, which they balance out perfectly there. This album is still solid though.
