At least they don't kid themselves about knowing what the fans want to hear.

Kinda bleak given their last two are their best, but definitely kinda admirable. I guess they pretty much are a legacy band at this point...

Asleep in the chapel is one of their best songs [2]

They played a handful of dates doing this same thing on the US West coast about a year or so ago. Was able to go to this show and they were fantastic. Also the production on this album has never bothered me, it's definitely got a weird feel to it but I like it.

Still my favorite Thursday record. Have the strongest emotional connection with this one and I feel it best represents them.

Oooh nice, did they play it in exact sequence? Am so so tempted, just need to know I'll be here before booking...

If this didn't have a couple of tracks I couldn't care less for, I'd be tempted to bump

Agreed that later Thursday rules. Luckily they tend to play a few newer songs as an encore - Turnpike Divides and You Were the Cancer are common picks.

I saw Thursday a few years ago and they mostly stuck to the old tracks, wish they played more later ones. I know they wanna please the crowd but the later stuff is seriously under-appreciated, as Get Low clearly demonstrates

@Johnny

Yeah iirc it was in sequence and then they played 2-3 random songs

EDIT: I was slightly mistaken, turns out they played Jet Black New Year second to last and then played 2 more songs after Tomorrow I'll Be You. I don't exactly remember that lol
