varg is probably at least somewhat biased in his dislike of the album for obvious reasons, i mean the main guitarist tried to kill him, the second guitarist (snorre ruch, not present on album but with varg during the murder) ratted him out, the drummer supposedly lowered his bass lines.



as far as the music is concerned, this is great. this is one of the rare examples of a hyped up album that actually deserves the hype. those vocals, especially in the title track, perfect. unlike any other.
