There are way to many contenders for goat 3-album runs for me, and Can’s not among it, though it’s pretty good.
As for Talking Heads, I’d say it is their Eno period (more songs… -> remain in light). Also:
Wire (pink flag - chairs missing - 154)
Sonic Youth (sister - daydream nation - goo)
Yo La Tengo (painful - elektr-o-pura - I can hear…)
Swans (the seer - to be kind - the glowing man)
