ALthough I definitely agree with everyone about keeping the vocals as the centre point of their music, I still would like to see their guitarists break out and take the forefront here and there. I think they definitely have the potential to and it would add a bit of welcome variety

Confession: the chorus of Freaks and Animals bugs me a little. I may be getting over it, though.

It's very tongue and cheek and cheesy yea. That's what bugs people about it but I've come to realize its supposed to be. It's about people false perceptions of the entertainment industry as a whole so I get the song now

Eidolon Alpha / Omega is 6/5 worthy.

Dude eidolon is fucking breathtaking. You have a perception as to what it's about? I think I figured it out.

No, but I'd wager that it would be more clear if you looked at the lyrics of Eidolon Alpha and Omega together, since they're basically one song anyway. There might be a clue that way.

That's true. But I think eidolon alpha is about social anxiety. So many parts just point to it IMO

Actually, Tame The Temporal Shrew/Weeble Wabble/Eidolon Alpha/Omega is all one piece, since each track's end blends right into the beginning of the next.

In terms of what the lyrics of Eidolon Alpha are supposed to mean, I'm not too sure. I get the feeling it's related to mindless-adoption of political rhetoric and resistance to change from the end of the song, but overall the lyrics seem intentionally vague as they usually are.

Some really cool interpretations here. Vuzela, you bring up a really good point about being vague. I

think the album is supposed to be vague because it suppose to represent our darkest sides. Mongi, I

couldn't agree more about Eidolon alpha having to do with anxiety. The line "Begging for a line

drawn in the sand to separate the prophets from the men..." is that irrational fear we all have

where we don't know who to trust, and who needs help just as much as we do. Its like that fear of

going into a class for the first time and not knowing a single face in it.

I think the perfect example of this album representing each individual listener on his/her deepest

levels is the first song. It drags you in with strange lyrics, and you can't help but wonder what it

is that's going on. Finally, Andrew screams the final line of the song (and my personal favorite

moment on the album) "My friend, it seems quite odd but YOU are the show you paid for!"... Its such

a powerful line, because what we are all looking for in this album is ourselves. Its so fucking good

because we can all relate to it, no matter who we are. We all have these dark thoughts, these

breaking points. I actually started a review on this album recently that explains all of this almost

track-by-track that I really wanna finish now.

Where 10 Years struck me more as a solid imitation band, Rishloo's sound is way more definitive! I heard about them a couple of years ago, but never really gave them a chance. It's good to see they're getting back together.

while this and Terra Frames are pretty derivative, Feathergun is unmistakably their own sound
