I thought Lambesis was kind of boring in this album. He's improved on later releases, however.

It's been over 2 years since I listened to this album...it's kinda bad. Maybe it's just that their two newest are much stronger but I got bored pretty much instantly with this. Band still holds a soft part in my heart though, even if this album is pretty damn boring now.

has some great tracks, but really gets monotonous at times (kinda like FWC except with a few more strong tracks)...

This album might not be as good as Ocean and Powerless Rise but its got some good tracks. Confined and The Darkest Nights are awesome.

"Confined and The Darkest Nights are awesome."

Those two are my favs, followed closely by Through Struggle

The Darkest Nights is easily the best song. This album gets a little stronger towards the end i'll give it that, but songs like Losing Sight, Empty Hearts, and Reflection are pretty bad.

I need to give FWC another listen and see what I think of that now...it's probably been even longer since I listened to that.

The only good songs are the ones with singing. This is still when they were all generic as shit melodeath derivative metalcore. Now they're generic as shit thrash derivative metalcore, but it suites them way better.

I agree Bass. This band is the only band I can think of that gets better after every album.

I do like Clint over Josh, by a bit, but Josh doesn't annoy me too much

Elegy rules, and the second half of Falling on Deaf Ears is quite nice.

Those are the only good songs on it though. They do get better with every release.

Yeah, I only liked Elegy off that album. It was the later albums, including this one, where I really started to enjoy multiple songs from this band.
