So, I'm going to the Pittsburgh A7x/Coheed concert in May. My joy knows no bounds.

Just felt like sharing, because shut up.

The Chevrolet Ampitheater, according to their MySpace.

It'll actually be the first real concert I've been to, and the first time I've been to Pittsburgh (it's a ~3 hour trip for me).

If you plan on staying in town for another day or so, you have to also go to Kennywood Park or find a chance to eat at The Original Hot Dog Stand.

Kennywood kicks so much ass. I can't wait to go back in May.

If you go, get Potato Patch Fries. They're orgasmic. ;)

And etan, you can edit posts, ya know. There's a page on the forums that has all the smiley codes. I forget exactly where it's at though.

Pretty unbiased, nice job all around. I have to say I like the layered vocals, and it's not to complex that it can still translate live. Which by the way is always a good go. These guys are touring w/ Coheed and Cambria right now, who I don't particularly like, but can't pass up a chance to see AS. Another thing I really dig is Gates' guitar work, the almost hypnotic feel to it. His slow songs, while a little bizare, I love because they're kind of artsy. And Shadows pulls off the screaming really well I thought...

didnt like this album at first but after a while i started 2 like the gtrs and drums in it (not the vox so much) but on sum songz the gtrs just make them sound....how do u say it.....too nice.....like Trashed and Scattered, Burn It Down and so on...gotta say they sound a hell of a lot better in concert witout so much high pitched singin by M. Shadows though...thats all for now...Rock On! m/

I haven't seen A7X live, but I've heard some live tracks on their Myspace page thing. I thought the vocals were terrible there, but that's just my opinion.
