His voice is definitely an acquired taste for sure, this album makes it easy peasy to adjust to though. Shallow and Arriving Somewhere are unreal.

It's specifically the lyrics for me. They come off as very cut rate and even a little juvenile at times. Just not up to par with the instrumental for the most part.

This is where they start getting better for me. I also like Fear of a Blank Planet. It's the stuff prior to this I just can't get into (sorry KILL).

Their best album by far. Porcupine tree may never get better than this, and ill be damn surprised if they do! Also,the album cover gets my imagination going...
