Visions of Atlantis are the defintion of generic, jesus christ. I still really enjoy Mandylion by The Gathering, that rules but I haven't heard their other stuff. I blame Versailles and Hibira for reducing my opinion of so many Symphonic and Power Metal bands (especally the former) :/

Elan is pretty different to the rest of the album. I recommend you check it out (especially the final track ''The Greatest Show On Earth''.
