it's so nu-metally though, and kinda ruins the power of Pink Maggit, because that ending chorus is so god damn epic at the end if Back To School isn't played at the beginning, but if it is, the effect is a little bit spoiled

the best nu metal album ever...

Toxicity, Mezmerize and System Of A Down are all fantastic albums. The other 2 are decent, and certainly not bad.

This album changed my life. Literally…. I remember being 19 driving in my 95 Camaro feeling like I was in dream with this indescribable paradigm, while listening to Digi bath, on the radio. Musically it opened me up to ideas & sounds I never would have imagined. Inescapably, when I write music it’s heavily influenced by this album. Every song on this album moves me. It seriously will be cherished for the rest of my life.

a pretty lop-sided argument if you ask me, SOAD doesn't have near as much talent as the Deftones in any way

obnoxious in a good way

system of a down are way better than deftones.
|
| |
SOAD have more collective talent IMO
|
| |
I'd take Deftones easy
|
| |
I have seen both live, and I found SOAD to be much more entertaining. Deftones had an interesting show, but it didnt really capture my interest particularly well.

The drugs mightve helped a bit too
|
| |
SOAD are just plain annoying
