When i bought this album, i thought it was decent. But soon I found the more i listened to it, the more it grew on me. Today it is ranked in my top 5 of favorite albums. The thing I love about this album is the frequently breaks from Kele's superb singing. Very often they provide a very smooth musical transition into (or out of) the bridge of the song, and it sounds brilliant. Every song is remarkably creative, yet still possess the welcoming distinct sound of a normal band. When I try to think of a definition of Indie Rock, this album immediately pops up into mind. Without a doubt, Bloc Party's finest album, and certainty one of the most memorable albums of the decade.
I wish i could have given it a 4.75/5 because of its near perfection, but I'll have to settle with a 4.5/5
(Matt Tong's drumming though, a sure 5/5.)
