Like devil and god better, but I like this a lot more than Daisy.

I just find this more relatable a more thought provoking than Devil except its very close to this

I always hear "at least pretend you didnt wanna get caurt" in "Okay, I Believe you" because of the rhyming.

D&G = Daisy
except that they're entirely different albums and one is good and the other is bad.

So what if they're entirely different? They're both fucking brilliant, hence why I hold them in the same regard.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you. I think Daisy is full of very anti-climatic songs with terrible filler and awful production. Nothing stands out, and it all just seems so boring; some tracks are just awful- have you heard 'Be Gone'? Are we listening to the same album? Not to mention the bad lyricism.

Great contribution. Better than talking about nothing, in my opinion.

Anti-climatic? You Stole beats the shit out of me on every listen, Vices genuinely scared me the first few listens and Noro is an immense listen. No filler for me. No issue with the production, either. Don't get bored with the record, it's very much a start-to-finish experience for me. I like Be Gone, too; the guitar is killer and I get a major boner over the vocal effects.

You stole seems to go nowhere though...Noro has excellent guitar work and clean vocals during the verses but that whole 'i'm on my way out' just does nothing for me, and then it drags itself until the vintage clip is played, which is arguably the coolest thing about that album. Be gone is annoying as hell if you ask me and once more goes nowhere. I did like Vices and At The Bottom, but the rest just seems to pad the record out.

I disagree. Again. You Stole starts out tiny and ends up massive.

I really do wish I loved that album like everyone else seems to. I like Brand New quite a bit, and I was very excited for the album, but vocally, and musically it does nothing for me. At least the album art is cool... I can't agree for a second that You Stole ends up being massive, the guitar work isn't even interesting to listen to.
Also, I lied- I think Daisy (song) is pretty good, minus the unnecessary dialogue in between.

See, I love the dialogue, too.
I really don't know what your problem is with the album.

I know it's really not valid to compare it to an album as fantastic as The Devil and God... or Deja Entendu, but I just found that there were no stand out tracks on Daisy, while there were ones that instantly clicked with me on their previous albums. I don't think I should be listening to any album more than 10 times to enjoy it.

I dunno what to say. The album clicked with me almost instantly and I hold in the same regards as TDAG.

But TDAG has songs like 'Limousine' with outstanding lyrics, instrumentation and a crazy cool guitar solo to top it all off. And deep, meaningful songs like 'Handcuffs' and 'Jesus'. I just find Daisy to be more aggressive with little stand out songs. I'm listening to the title track right now though, and I genuinely like it, a lot. I guess we're just going to have to agree to disagree here.

I love all the TDAG songs, but I don't think there's a song on Daisy that isn't exceptional.

Daisy and At The Bottom are both fantastic, but You Stole seems to drag on and Noro does basically the same. Bed is blah. I think I'm just mostly upset that it wasn't TDAG part 2.

TDAG is better and will be better than anything they're gonna put out.
Get over it.
I never really "got" this, I mean its decent no doubt but they're like 3 really good songs and the rest either have an amazing chors and lame verses or amazing verses and a lame chorus. Record doesn't flow well at all imo.
