What kind of a review was that? Your review is completely biased. Why are you reviewing a deathcore album, if you
seem to have some sort of hatred for deathcore? TBH I hardly even call these guys deathcore, most deathcore bands
I hear are bands like Whitechapel and Oceano, whom I strongly dislike.
For your comment on "the drummer is being held back by everyone else", the guitarist Marc writes every song,
including the drums. I also fail to see how this band would come across as generic. I can understand, in a song
structure point of view, they over-use their breakdowns which are in practically every song, but in a musical point of
view I have heard very few bands like them, incorporating jazzy sort of influences into heavy metal.
I do agree the deathcore genre as a whole is a pretty terrible genre, as almost every deathcore band just pretty much
recycles the same shitty riffs for an entire album and calling it brutal. I just know that there are people out there
who do really enjoy deathcore, and I personally believe that the person writing a review for a "deathcore" album
should also like the genre. The point of a review is to show fans of that genre of music what they can expect with the
album, not to showcase the authors hatred for the genre and his musical elitism. But hey, thats just what I think of
the review, and I do respect the fact that you took your time to sit down and write a review for the album. In the end,
music is all opinion, so there is no right or wrong answer, so I will gladly agree to disagree with you on this review.
(Yes I know I edited this a lot, I had change my thoughts on what to write on this comment many times lol)

FatChickIrl you are a total elitist that judges music by genres. It's so lame because you probably miss out on a lot of good shit. Panteras Domination had a breakdown. Are they gay as well? I guess if you play guitar and learn one of Okubo's songs you will understand why his riffs are interesting.

Hmm, seems that a lot of the reviewers on this site aren't very objective or professional. I read through the reviews mostly laughing at the rather juvenile writers combativeness with those responding to his review.
Not everyone will like your review, nor will you be able to please everyone. Review would have been better without the tinting you applied about the genre. Review music as music and you'd be better off.
Lots of albums I've listened to at first sounded terrible to me, later after time to listen without bias were better. Hell sometimes just my mood can make a band sound bad. Most music has it's place and those that don't usually don't last long anyway.

This review reeks of a "tr00er than thou/I hate it because it's deathcore" mentality.

I love this album. Crazy tempo changes and Brandon has an absolutely brutal range. The timing of the breakdowns can be trippy and fun to listen to. Just because it falls under deathcore does not make it bad.
