at first i wasn't impressed because it wasn't as fast or as punk soundign as their old stuff, but the album will grow on the lister with every listen. the special effects used on this album were great, and the lyrics were deep and dark. travis is at his best drumming wise. the only problem i had with this album is that mark should have sang more. definitly top five pop punk albums of this decade and one of the best all time.

I dont get why everyone gave them shit for "maturing" - they couldnt try to recreate Enema again like they did with TOYPAJ. TOYPAJ seemed so contrived; self-titled was a nice change to me.

Hrm...I prefer them live. They seem(ed) to really enjoy what they were doing - and that got me enjoying it.

lol I like metal and this as well, good music is good music
Although with the exception of Blink, Green Day, The Offspring and one or two other bands I can't remember off the top of my head, pop- punk doesn't do it for me. In fact the aforementioned bands also don't really do it for me per se, but I like them still. If that makes sense...This Message Edited On 01.16.09
