This album might be more radio friendly, but that doesn't make it bad, there's some pretty bad ass tracks on here.

I like the intro to the title track, Hearts Burst Into fire, and Say Goodbye for some reason...but thats like it.

I heard these dudes only started even playing metal(core) to be part of the metal(core) scene. I'm not bitching about it, but yeah... I'm totally bitching about that. The first album was kind of catchy in places, but yeah, they aren't that good imo. I heard a couple songs of this and while they obviously have musical ability and can play their instruments, writing a Metallica influenced record, whether it be done by a hack or a musical genius, is pretty much redundant and very very unlikely to be inspiring to anybody whose heard much of the genre. Everybody's heard Battery. No need to recycle it.

"One of the best metal bands to come out after 2000"

Not even one of the best mainstream metalcore bands, for me. Killswitch, particularly on AOJB, have shitloads more variety and structure, and Trivium were catchier on Ascendancy. But that's beside the point, there are stockpiles of post millenium bands with more talent than BFMV out there. Bullet aren't shit, but come on, when your a metal band and your fanbase are largely 15-16 year old girls... (anyone who lives in the UK will know what I mean. I'm going to assume they aren't as big in the USA).This Message Edited On 03.04.09

And I might add, the bridge in the tital track.. Come on guys. Didn't The Crusade's reception show you emulating 'Tallica WONT get you "cred"? It's too obvious a ripoff.
