I guess I don't see this album as having much of a legacy vs earth 2 which was pretty influential and has imo a more singular sound than this does

Idk this isn’t my favourite - there’s probably 3 or 4 I prefer including 2 - but I remember when I was getting into Earth in liiiike 2009 or 2010 they were being sold as “cowboy drone” and this album was like the poster child for it.

well this is easily more accessible than Earth 2 innit

ngl Earth 2 was a treat of a first listen and it took me multiple attempts to make it the whole way through this

This album is still amazing, perfect for night driving/rainy days

need to get into some drone metal, been on my list for a while. always was drawn towards this art and aesthetic this album has. sampled it and sounded very promising. gotta do it!
