Falling Snow is my favourite from here, so beautiful ♥

Pale Folklore I find to be the best representation of their style. The others expanded more on one aspect (The Mantle with folk, Ashes with post-metal, Marrow with black metal) but PF has a bit of everything.

Falling Snow and Fire Above, Ice Below are 2 of my favorite Agalloch tracks. Completely agree with Nero about PF as well.

i mean, marrow and pf are pretty much equal in quality if you ask me but both have their weaknesses even if they are for different reasons

the mantle is perfection

Pale Folklore and The Mantle are both perfect to me, it's just that PF has the folk elements from The Mantle, the melody from Ashes, the BM from Marrow and of course the great atmosphere they all have all in one amazing package :P

I don't really like post metal that much yet this is easily my favourite Agalloch.

This isn't post metal though tbh. It's just influenced by it.

This may not be straight up post metal but it's how I usually refer to this album since it seems like the genre that comes closest. Pale and Mantle would be more Folk Metal, this Post Metal and Marrow black metal. Of course all 3 albums include influences from all of those genres to varying degrees

Cherb. Some of these bass lines are amazingly orgasmic.
