if it weren't for the many patchy tracks on the West Pole, it'd be an unbroken run
WHEN is the new alb getting a release date omg I want to write a hyperbole marathon trashing all other music and affirming TG as the only good band left in the world

J O H N N Y !!!!!!!! 💖😍

I know! It totally would be. Incredible. I think it was April 2022, said so on the pre-order site where I got the album and accompanying EP (!).

YES! It'll be a two track thing, so essentially two bonus tracks:

Fantastic track too, very Souvenirs-y.

Forgot the production on this was killer, re-listening to this on CD with good headphones is a blessing

Honestly, if I had to make the smallest smallest complaint about this, it's that the production (which I [i]like[/i) is a little dense at points. Love how Home opened this sound out

all of the Gathering's albums, at least from Mandolyn to Home, have excellent production. My fav is still HTMAP because that drum snare just sounds so punchy.

"My fav is still HTMAP because that drum snare just sounds so punchy." [1349283592750217507591387495] I have not agreed more with someone on this site ever 💚

Also agreed RE the Home and the all the Gathering albums' production.

This is a grower, nearly up there with Planet and probably on par with Mandylion now. Have to appreciate how all 3 have unique vibes for different moods.

I still need to fill in some gaps / re-visit If Anything Else.

That's so true. This was the one that took me the longest to get into, but it's such an amazing and rewarding experience.

I’m pretty excited about the fact I’ve only checked 6 of their albums so far. Another 5 to go!

I might try Home next.

Oooh nice!! This one clicked instantly for me, but the road is different for all of us.

Home is often misunderstood I'd say, or at least many don't like it as much as the others. It's in my top three personally, love it a lot.

Yeah it's a very good album, In Between is the only track I'm not very fond of.

That's 100% understandable. It's gorgeous and emotional and ridiculously good.

(They have quite a few of those...)

Understandable. I’ve collected a bunch of 3.5s/4s. This is 2nd to Planet for the time being.

Same, Planet is my fave, then this. And then with everything +1.0.

This and Planet are pretty cosy as their top 2 imo, only dice is between Nighttime Birbs and Homer for #3
