Rosetta is the only huge post-metal band that I still don't truly get. Mostly due to this album. Last time I listened to it, I was overwhelmed. That didn't even happen with Neurosis' older releases.

The combined version makes this work, that moment at like 2.00 in of Absent / Beta Aquilae when the guitars hit after all the ambience is just ear sex.

Departe/Deneb is one of the best post metal songs ever. the sound wall they make is overpowering. ugh and his vocals fit it so perfectly
