I have enough computer skill to open a song in Audacity and tell it isn't the original from 1992 when I can see the waveform is compressed. Songs weren't being distributed that compressed in 1992. This is also backed up by the fact that I finally tracked down the original with full dynamics and no compression.

Nobody cares how many hours of "forever" it took you to find a recording from a first press under the deluded belief that represses = remasters, it's the same recording. That, combined with the fact you don't find the album to be better than 'Legion,' just proves that your ears don't work.

I've built and repaired computers over 10 years.
The repressing isn't the original sound. It's compressed with loss of dynamics, i.e. it doesn't sound the same. If it doesn't sound the same, then how can it be the same recording?
