I had Recruited but didn't really like it all that much. I really like Black Umbrella, it's like a quirky, depressed Fugazi.

Lived up in Battle Creek during the glory days of Kalamazoo...I saw thOught industry at least 15 times when I lived up there. Even a crazy show in some middle school gym. Great live band...great live shows. Genius Hired Guns were fun also (some them in the best for one of the Kalapalzoas).
One of their best cds.
I was more of a twitch fan back then..saw them at least 30 times live.
It was a good time for local music in Kalamazoo.

A lot of people from that area (and time) really love the bands that came from there. You guys definitely had a unique scene.
