I think this album was more revolutionary but 2001 is one of those albums that has a timeless sound
and Dre really shows off his perfectionist side. and it's a perfect example as to why good
mixing/mastering can make an album. while The Chronic does sound like it's from its decade, Dre makes
2001 really sound fresh and lush and it could be released today and still not sound dated
