I have to admit, Im really digging this right about now. At first I thought this was painfully mediocre, but I might even bump this to a 3.5. I can't explain how much this grew on me over the past couple weeks or so, I find it infectious now.

Id ridicule you awia for dragging your stupidity from the Protest the Hero thread to this, but Im actually interested in seeing the makings of those songs, specifically A Little Piece of Heaven, so I apologize. From what I understand, it was all the Rev's awkward creation.

I like this a little more than city of evil for vocals only, he seems stronger. other than that scream is a good song. and thats really it.

Probably cause compared to their older stuff it sucks. But as an album on its own its not bad.

The other albums really aren't that much better. Compared to Waking the Fallen this is ok. Generic dropped D riffs, bad lyrics, decent singing.

i dont listen to avenged sevenfold but I know how their style has changed and why everyone seems to despise them now. I heard a little bit of this to hear what the fuss is about and, yep, its god awful. "A Little Piece of Heaven" has got to be the worst song of 2007 hands down.

I stopped listnening to Avenged Sevenfold a long time ago.

However I decided to take a cursory look at the A Little Piece Of Heaven video after hearing about how terrible it was.

In short, terrible is a compliment.

No intention at all of listening to any A7X again...ever.
