Everytime i hear Unfamiliar, even in the most diffcult of times, it makes me smile a little bit. The pure euphoria towards the end when everything bursts (especially Vennart gives it all)... man that's just something else

y'all make me question if it was really unfamiliar. I'm pretty sure it was. It was a song in the first quarter...need to re-check.

okay, now I know why I didn't like it. It is poorly placed within the record. The soothing outro of the opener leads right into these faster drums and I wasn't in the right mood for Unfamiliar. Just re-listened to that song alone and yeah, it is pretty amazing. gonna listen to this record again soon and I am pretty sure I will 5 it. The Frame is the best song here imo.

oh and btw: Quicksand so obviously ripped off the riff at 0:59 on Unfamiliar for their song "Illuminant"

Unfamiliar is great but at least four other songs on here are better

Hard disagree but this is so 5 that actually it doesn't matter

Really glad you love it Eclipse! Seems like my recommendation worked out for you haha

Sleeping Dogs is the only weak link here and it still slams
Opener has never been a fave, but that comes down to personal preference; everything else is in Fight Me territory (absolutely including Unfamiliar)

Unfamiliar > Trail of Fire > Savant > Commemorative T > Christy's > Only Twin > Sleeping Dogs > The Frame

(*Waits for an ensuing flame war*)

An ensuing FRAME war. How can you dislike the title track?

The t/t is probably their best song, top 3 at least

I like it, it's just my least fave out of all my faves!

To me the first 4 tracks of this album are 12/10 material. The second 4 tracks are 9/10 material. Dunno why I think that, that's just how my earbrains perceive these noodle sounds

Trial of Fire, Only Twin, and Sleeping Dogs are easily top 3 for me though if we're talking highlights. Album is consistent af
