It's funny that's pretty much exactly the two words that came to me as a description of this when I fist heard it a while back (and I gave it a 3).

I want to rate this (even) higher, but it's so damn top heavy. The first five tracks are basically perfect (especially 1, 4, and 5) but after that it gets a little boring. Black River is a pretty awesome closer though.

tbh I think my favorite is Black River. Weaving the Incantation is second, then either a Servant or Towards and Against for third.

Oh yeah, I reiterate, first 5 tracks are basically perfect. And yeah, after a few more listens, Black River is full of win. Rating might go up, needs to pass the replay test. And my replay tests are harsh lol.
