This is sputnik's crossroads of ideas.

Brilliant minds congregate here, in the comments of user Boddah's review for Unwound's 1994 album New Plastic Ideas, to pass along info and techniques.

Truly inspiring.

"you once did a disappearing rating bit"

I remember that one, don't remember the review I did it on.

Great work of art, lost to time...

this is what got me into unwound, abstraktions to be specific , I then went through phases of all of their other albums n at one point considered this one of my lesser favorites despite loving it , now it is a top tier again bc it aged extremely well. the future of what is what i am most likely to listen to if I'm in the mood for them tho and has been for a couple of years

for sure, not one bad album rly. I found a CD of a single history at a random record store a year ago which made me finally listen to that and it also is super good n seemingly ignored by many for some reason

yep that album is just as good as most of their stuff. the only one that i think is clearly a step below is s/t, which is still a 3.5 in my book

I used to love s/t and still love the strong songs like stuck in the middle of nowhere again , you bite my tongue , fingertips but yea its definitely a lower tier album for them. still listen to it sometimes tho. I think ultimately Challenge is my least favorite of their albums, but its still great
