my biggest problem is the paper thin production, whereas S/T and Iowa had a massive wall of sound

It's not T H I C C like the first two, but it gets the job done. Everything is audible and sounds good to me, especially on head phones.

e; jammed a bit of both albums thinking they probably didn't sound much different but iowa definitely does sound better than this. more organic and doesn't give me a headache (still pretty loud though).

Yeah but the harsh vocals on the new one decimate this shit. Then again, this album has experimentation that works a bit better imo

yeah that's exactly it, this has experimentation but the "screams" are just shrill yelling. Who knew Corey would sound better in 2019 than 2004 hahahah what the fuck that's so weird to say

Nahhh the harsh vocals on here have way more power. They feel way more intense and have a raw edge to them.
