to be fair Thomas Frank is an infinitely better coach, so if we ignore 'vibes' it wouldn't be the worst unemotional decision. You did finish 17th after all

then again, can Frank replicate his success at a club with (presumably) different ambitions. Can he cut it in the UCL playing direct football, or will he adapt?

I'm fond of Brentford (used to watch them as a kid) so I'm more concerned with how this potentially hurts them. They're so well run I imagine they have some under-the-radar replacement lined up

He's great at what he does, just not sure it'll get you UCL football etc. (via the league lol) as there's probably a ceiling for any club willing to cede possession (even Forest ran out of steam down the stretch, as well as they did), depends if he can coach a different way as most can't. I bet he'll get you a solid midtable finish tho, so that's an improvement!
