I've liked Nile since like 7th grade (6 years ago) and I have all of their albums

This definetely isn't there best, probably their worst release but I still have it and listen to it. Just because I like their other releases so much. ITDS is amazing IMO

I don't understand why this album is so badly rated. Just for even god must die this album deserve a 3,5. Probably my favorite Nile song ever with Cast Down The Heretic.

I listened to some of this today. There were a few kick ass riffs scattered about, but those good riffs were surrounded in complete uninspired bullshit with awful vocals. Not even great production can save them.

I thought the production was kind of muffled and muddy. I liked it, but it wasn't exactly clean.

Hey, give the man (Karl Sanders) credit... he's got some kind of staff.. guitar.... or something... you know, I don't know what the hell it was when I saw it live, but ... you know, that's probably where he got the phallic thing. It really just looks retarded. Seriously. It probably weighs more than him.

this album is not as awful as you make it out to be, although it is quite a good review.

I was a bit dissapointed with this after Annihilation, but its still not awful.

As He Creates So He Destroys is prob my favorite track on the album.

I actually liked this, perhaps more so than Annihilation of the Wicked, and it continues to grow on me. May even be my favorite from these guys.

But the point about the solos is spot-on, Nile have never had good solos in my opinion, but these are the worst yet. They sound like me in my early days of playing guitar, when I would try to "show off" to friends, after about 2 1/2 months of practice. They're ALMOST as bad as Kerry King, who I believe to be one of the worst guitarists in history.
