that much is true, but with certain types of music (noise being a perfect example) having the right mindset can greatly affect the level of appreciation for something. You wouldn't go into a drone or noise release expecting standard composition/songwriting and proceed to judge it with those standards.

album is a pretty bold artistic statement. at the time, the most cacophonous thing in rock. really nothing quite like it in that time period. doesn't make the music itself good but if you're the kinda guy like like Sach who values some context, it's understandable to call it a classic.
