It’s almost as good. They’re about equal but I’d give Storm a very slight edge.

I personally think this is even better than Storm... It's still growing on me, clicked hard recently but I blame that on the tr00 cold that's starting to take over where I live finally.

I'm not a big BM unfortunately mif, very picky.

Not even the melodic kind... What's your opinion on Storm then?
|

It riffs so I like it.
Production isn't obnoxious either.

I have an issue with lo-fi and/or screechy production in BM too, which certainly can make things tricky.

Yeah, this is very melodic and quite accessible for a 'real' bm record, but still manages to be very aggressive and bleak, which is a very hard thing to get right. Plus it features a loooot of delicious riffs, non stop.

True. Another album which manages this ungodly combination is The Nocturnal Silence, probably sounds more aggressive than this one actually, dem vox. Riffs hard too.

Ok. Done. 5d. This deserves it. A blast from start to finish. Addicting, riffs are godly.
