I still vividly remember the day I bought this album way back when it came out in '97, from a fucking Wal-Mart of all places. Despite the giant bulls testicles on the cover, somehow I convinced my mother to buy it for me. Must have listened to this album a million times since then, to the point where I could probably sing every single lyric on the entire album and tap along to all of the chords by memory alone.

Blink get alot of flak for being "immature" during this era, but really if you listen to the subject matter of quite a few of these songs, there's nothing immature about it. There's a lot of hidden angst on most of these songs from Pathetic to Josie. There are the fun, immature songs still like Voyeur and Degenerate, but I don't get why people seem to think that Blink never made a "serious" song before their self titled album. Carousel, Josie, I'm Sorry, and Going Away to College are all amazing and completely serious songs.

This review totally rules by the way Chan. You touched on some of the more serious aspects of some of the songs here just like I was just talking about. I'd pos if I could!

(summary)This is where I belonggggggggggggggg.(summary)

Remember being a teenager, remember how awesome it was? Fuck, I still am a teenager and loving it. I fucking dread growing up, getting a job having to worry about taxes n shit. I mean come on that sounds horrid. I enjoy being able to blaze up every day or drink and not have to fucking worry about everything. Shit, all there is to worry about as a teenager is school. But even that's easy shiiiitttttttt. But even though that's really it we STILL fucking worry about everything. From chicks and asshole parents n shit. Really there's no reason to worry, turn your swaggggggg on and you'll be fine. But even then, even then you's guys is worrying. Always worrying. Stop it. And yesterdayyyyyy I thought of youuuuu. But come on relationships are ovverrated she's just gonna dump your ass anyway. Come on just be like jayz he thugs em and fucks em but he doesnt fuckin need em. But you;'re not gonna listen to me and just gonna be screaming apple shampoo lyrics and emo lyrics over the guy she left your ass for. Or a new hope who knows you could get giant boners from star wars. But anyway yeah you should be screaming shit from like degenerate and dick lips come on thats what ya gotta do. But no youre singin from voyeur and waggy. Fuck I lost my train ive lost my train of thought here. We should probably talk about the album hahaha. Lazy laid back maybe youre just on crack. Anyway yeah blink writes like really personal shit that we can relate to its really cool. And plus tom really thrashes not slayer thrashin more like meggggaaaaadddeeeeettttthhhhhhh m/. the bass is prime too but the drummer is like really meh omg wheres travisssssssss??? fuck you scott fuck you. So yeah if you like thrashin riffs and personal yet fun lyrics you should really get this. But also like you may find toms voice grating but I mean come on he rules the whininess makes it. But still a lot of you will probs prefer mark but I mean come on theyre both prime quit hatin. ILL TAKE WHAT YOURE WILLING TO GIVE AND ILL TEACH MYSELF TO LIVE IN THE BACK SHOT OF A MOVIE IM NOT INNNNNNNNNN m/ m/ m /m/

oh yeah and like why leaveeee when you claim it as love but why stay when youre not the only onnneeeeee is like the best lyric ever.

SO SORRY ITS OVERRRRRRRRRR
