I still vividly remember the day I bought this album way back when it came out in '97, from a fucking Wal-Mart of all places. Despite the giant bulls testicles on the cover, somehow I convinced my mother to buy it for me. Must have listened to this album a million times since then, to the point where I could probably sing every single lyric on the entire album and tap along to all of the chords by memory alone.
Blink get alot of flak for being "immature" during this era, but really if you listen to the subject matter of quite a few of these songs, there's nothing immature about it. There's a lot of hidden angst on most of these songs from Pathetic to Josie. There are the fun, immature songs still like Voyeur and Degenerate, but I don't get why people seem to think that Blink never made a "serious" song before their self titled album. Carousel, Josie, I'm Sorry, and Going Away to College are all amazing and completely serious songs.
This review totally rules by the way Chan. You touched on some of the more serious aspects of some of the songs here just like I was just talking about. I'd pos if I could!

So yeah if you like thrashin riffs and personal yet fun lyrics you should really get this. But also like you may find toms voice grating but I mean come on he rules the whininess makes it. But still a lot of you will probs prefer mark but I mean come on theyre both prime quit hatin.
