Decent album, and for the first Architects album not too bad. It has a different vocalist (with terrible clean vocals when they appear) to Sam Carter, and the mathcore influence is obviously there in spades, as on the album's first three songs and 'In the desert'. To be honest I found 'This confession means nothing' somewhat boring and tiresome, but the other seven songs do their job well enough.
