One of those albums that I I initially loved, then liked, and then loved again. This is definitely the kind of piece that every artist needs to make in their catalog if they're striving to not be safe and complacent. Without it, we wouldn't have the music they released after it.

I maintain this is more an album of great ideas (sometimes just great riffs)...but not always great songs

Like the last two tracks 'River' and 'Pig'...they had ideas that could have resulted in the band's best ever songs.
No one is calling them two of the band's best songs.
That's this album summed up.

I love the way this album is mixed. The way the guitars just worm around. Good shit.
My only real complaint is it does get a bit repetitive at times. Sick(x3) is a really good song with driving rhythms, it just drags on way too long. That could be said for alot of these tracks. Otherwise, I still enjoy it from time to time
