The concept in GR is pretty intense too. Still Life still rules all though

yeah Fade, I did, and I still think its underrated, but its lowered. Opeth for me now goes BWP>Ghost>Morningrise>Still Life>MAYH and the rest. Maybe Still Life and/or MAYH wil surpass Morningrise for me, but Morningrise is just so denseeeeee

didn't think there was a concept to Ghost Reveries? I thought I read in interviews that it was going to be one but then they ditched it or something
for me its something like: BWP > Still Life > MAYH > Morningrise + Ghost Reveries > not sure about the rest

All the songs except Isolation years follow a concept. Mikael liked Isolation YEars so much he just had to throw it onto the album even though it didnt fit with the rest

for me guys its BWP>GR>Morningrise>SL>MAYH>everything else. Im weird as fuck though. As lyrically engrossing as SL and MAYH are, I just prefer their more dense and grander works.

I dont know why.... holy fuck Im blowing this rite now. Still Life is a solid 4.5 for me, but I prefer both Bwater and even Ghost Reveries (sue me) over this, and sometimes even Morningrise (ill know for sure after relistening), and now Im starting to think that this>still life. I mean, I always felt Still Life was a tad overrated compared to Bwater... but wtf?
