Dave sounds like a demented madman on most of these tracks. Probably because he was screwed out of his mind on every drug you could think of at the period of time this was released.
It gives the album a gritty and dark feeling, as well as the slightly muddy production which makes the guitars and drums sound heavier.

Sandwiched between two classic thrash albums, one being the #1 thrash album of all time, this album is so-so.
The cover is weak, some songs drag on too long, solos are average, drumming is average, and guitar could have better production.
Jeff Young and Chuck Behler were not a good fit for the band. Nothing memorable by either of them on here.
In My Darkest Hour is the peak of this album.
