cowboys and trendkill are both better. i too was a big fan of this for awhile but once youve heard cowboys or trendkill you realize that this is far inferior to both. hollow is still one of the greatest songs i've ever heard though

you're a clown first of all for even having this rated as a 5. clearly you are one of the crowdfollowing trendsucks that just accepts and claims to follow the popular opinion. however if you had a non-closed mind and/or actually knew how to appreciate good metal you'd see that trendkill destroys this. this is still a great album but trendkill is more metal while this is more "pre-hardcore"

pre-hardcore, pre-nu metal, argument could be made for either. phil anselmo had the attitude, and many many people tried to copy his style but failed miserably.



this album is great. but cowboys from hell is 10 times better and trendkill is about 2.7 times better. if you dont believe me, listen to the song "The Great Southern Trendkill" at full volume while driving. Suicide note part 1 is a beautiful song. Floods is floods. on trendkill they refined their sound and got rid of all the unnecessary shit resulting in, naturally, their best album since cowboys.



the problem with vulgar is that its an extemely GOOD album but most of the songs rarely transcend past just simply being really good. exceptions: hostile, live in a hole, hollow
