It's awesome how far his vocals came along in the short time between TFTR and this one. He's also got a pretty intelligible scream imo.

i remember the first time i heard nerdy when i was in 8th grade. practically shat myself

oh man, there was a good 3 year run when I thought Pass The Flask was the greatest thing ever.

i still love the fuck out of that album though

If I showed this album to a kid who listens to modern metalcore, they'd more than likely tell me this ain't metalcore. It isn't exactly formulaic.



I'm as far as you can get from an expert on the genre but there are three metalcore albums I'd hand to that kid and they'd probably hate all three, bless their soul.
