Yeah dude, the remaster is amazing. I'm sure everyone's probably heard it but if not they did a great job with it as it still retains all of the charm of the original, but finally got a proper mix/master.

Everything is finally mixed well, and pushed towards a modern volume level, but it's all done in good taste. Everything still breathes really well on it, and it's much more balanced than the original. Everyone has their own opinions, but yours seems more skewed towards a bias against modern remasters than it does the album at hand.
